Amy grew up in Southern California, and has lived in Long Beach for almost 30 years.  She graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and Interpersonal Relations.

Amy has worked with Dr. Ulmer since 1988, and is celebrating her 20th year in dermatology.  As an assistant to Dr. Ulmer, Amy assists with general dermatologic procedures and cosmetic procedures such as dermabrasion, eyelid surgery, and scar repair.

She is actively involved in the Long Beach community, and serves as the leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.  She lives in Belmont Shore with her husband, Marc, their daughter, Lindsey, and their Wheaten Terrier, Higgins.
